TYR-X's quote-preparation assistant is an AI assistant for freight forwarders that turns an incoming enquiry into a ready-to-price quote file: the shipment requirements extracted, what is missing flagged, the applicable rates and routing options pulled from your own rate sources, and the file laid out the way your team quotes. A person prices it and sends it. The assistant never issues a quote.
What does the assistant do?
Reads the enquiry. Extracts commodity, weight, dimensions, origin, destination, Incoterm, dates and special requirements. Lists what is missing and drafts the question back to the customer. Finds the applicable rates in your rate sources and notes validity. Lays out routing options. Assembles the quote file in your format with every figure linked to its source.
What stays with your people?
Pricing. Margin. Choosing the option. Sending the quote. Any commitment to the customer. Any rate the assistant cannot find a source for is left blank and flagged, not guessed.
What does it need from you?
Where enquiries arrive (a shared mailbox or folder you approve — not your private inbox). Your rate sources and their formats. Your quote template. The named person who prices and sends.
What does the weekly packet contain?
Quote files prepared, time from enquiry to file, enquiries with missing information and the questions drafted, rates that could not be sourced, and anything blocked and why.
What it does not do

Can AI quote freight?
AI can prepare the quote file; it should not set the price or make the commitment. TYR-X's assistant prepares, a person prices and sends.
How fast is a quote file ready?
That is what testing measures. Times are published when they exist; none are claimed now.
Does it need my TMS?
No. It works from the enquiry, your rate sources and your template.
What if the rate is missing?
The field is left blank and flagged. Nothing is invented.
